Martin Ten Hoeve H-999
Point-7 International are pleased to announce the signing of Martin Ten Hoeve, the Dutch wave sailor. Martin who is born and raised in Holland, is ideal to represent Point-7 sails. He has competed on the PWA World tour for some years now and is also taking part in numerous other wave events around Europe. Having the North sea as his home spot and Sardinia as the backyard of Point-7, Martin will be playing a key role in the development and testing of new wave sails, making sure they will be perfect in real world conditions.
Martin self: One of the reasons for me to change from North Sails to Point-7, is that before I was just one of many riders on a big team whereas with Point-7 I’ll be part of a more compact group, who has a totally different approach to the way they work and develop their material. I believe in the commitment and expertise they are showing and after having tried some of their sails I’m totally convinced that I’ve made the right choice.
Being part of the development will help my understanding of how sails actually work and hopefully this will help me to improve my sailing and reach some of my own personal goals, such as to become Dutch Wave Champion and get a better world ranking. In 2008 I will also be competing more in slalom and with the support and help of Andrea Cucchi, one of the best riders there is, I’m sure to improve my game dramatically. Moreover since a few months I get financial support of Acernum Consultancy and Groundwater Consulancy and dressed in the warm and flexible surf wetsuits of O'Neill the future looks bright . I’m stoked to be given this opportunity to join the Point-7 team!
See you out there,
Jah Man
